Mr. Robert Thomas Williams, 65, of Centre, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, at his residence.Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Greg Locklear and Bobby Kirk officiating. Burial will be held 2 p.m. Sunday in Cherokee Memory Gardens. Perry Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.Mr. Williams was a native of Polk County, Ga., the son of the late Walter and Lanie Brandon Williams. He was president and CEO of Williams Farm Center. He was a member of Sand Valley Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife, Joan Coffey Williams; daughters, Crista Lynn (Jeff) Nelson, Cedar Bluff, Gina Ree (Greg) Locklear, Centre; brother, Wilbur Paul (Sarah) Williams, Centre; sisters, Dianne (Jimmy) Williams Tillery, Leesburg; grandchildren, Jim Nelson, Kellie Nelson, Jenna Locklear and Grace Locklear; several nieces and nephews.Pallbearers include, Jim Nelson, Marcus Williams, Cade Jennings, Danny Chesnut, Billy Joe Baker, Randy Handy, Lance Martin and Jeremy Mayfield.Honorary pallbearers are past and present employees of Williams Farm Center. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital or the family will accept flowers.The family will receive from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday.
