Robert T. Williams Oriskany Falls Robert T. (Bob) Williams, 74, of Oriskany Falls, passed away Friday, September 26, 2008, with his family by his side, at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton, after a long illness. He was born December 23, 1933, in Granville, the son of the late Arthur and Dorothy Spicer Williams, and was a graduate of RFA. He was a US Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. On August 17, 1957, in Rome, he married Joyce M. Hadfield. She passed away April 30, 2004. Mr. Williams was employed with Freihofer's in Verona, General Electric in Utica, and retired in 1995 from C & H Plastics in Waterville. He was a member of the Kelley-Phillips American Legion Post #569 in Oriskany Falls and the VFW Post #9591 in Clinton. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He was a hard worker who was proud of his welsh heritage and enjoyed dancing, playing pinochle and spending time with his friends at the legion. He is survived by six children and their spouses, Diane and Robert Fetterolf of New Hartford, Darlene Durante and her friend, Charlie Tooke, of Oneida, Robert Williams and his friend, Linda Jones, of Oriskany Falls, Sheri and Daniel Siedsma of Clinton, Kelli and Richard Nikodem of Deansboro and Michael Williams of Charlotte, NC; a sister, Marjory Tornberg of Canastota; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Arthur and James Williams, and a grandson, Shawn Buell. The funeral will be Monday evening at 7 o'clock at the Kloster-Northrop & Bentz Funeral Home, 210 E. Main St., Waterville, with The Rev. Thomas O'Donnell officiating. Interment with legion honors will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Crown Hill Memorial Park, Kirkland. Calling hours are Monday from 4-7, prior to the service. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Nathan Keever and the entire staff of Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton, for all their wonderful care and compassion.
