Robert Joseph "Bob" Williams, 54, Seymour, passed away at 1:39 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, 2010, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.Mr. Williams was a member of the State Street Baptist Church in New Albany. He was a retired meat cutter and was a member of American Legion Post 89, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925 and the Moose Lodge, all of Seymour.Born March 5, 1955, in New Albany, he was the son of Joseph and Martha Glaze Williams, both of whom preceded him in death. On Dec. 31, 1976, in Long Beach, Calif., he married Joan Marie Brandenberg, who survives.Besides his wife, he is survived by three sisters, Sharon (David) Wolnar, Penny Page (Leonard) Knear and Dana (Tom) Farrell.He was preceded in death by his son, Wesley Michael Williams.Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Generations Funeral Home, New Albany.
