BERNE Robert C. Owen, 82, died Monday, January 27, 2003, at his home. He was born and raised in Wappingers Falls, N.Y., moving to Berne in 1985. He served in the U.S. Army. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed the outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis of 61 years; his daughter Deborah Douglass; two grandchildren, David and Dawn; one brother and sister; and nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be greatly missed. Funeral service will be private.
