TeacherWINTER HAVEN -- Ms. Phyllis Cleland Smith of Winter Haven died of heart failure Tuesday (June 7, 2005). She was 94.Born Feb. 13, 1911, in Sanford, she came here in 1946. She is a veteran of the Navy WAVES and served in World War II. She was a high school math teacher for 37 years. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. She was a member of the vestry, flower committee and St. Agnes Guild of St. Paul's Church, Chapter U of the PEO Sisterhood, and Order of the Daughters of the King.Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
