(nee McGee) On Friday May 23rd, 2003, Phyllis passed away suddenly. Beloved wife of Delbert Joseph for 44 years and loving mother and friend to her children Lynn Marie, Gayle (Dave Stefaniuk), Sheila and Robert. Daughter of the late John McGee and Rose Sloan. Sister of Rita (the late Joe Wrinn), Leo (Bertha Corriveau), Eileen (Lionel Morin) and younger brother Donald. Predeceased by brothers D'Arcy (Bernadette Morin) and Edwin (Rita Kluke). Sister-in-law of Celia (Rollie Mulvey), Linus (the late Helen Doyle), Priscillia (Tony Landro), Monica, Dora, Gerald (Gwen Wrinn), Theresa (Lou Maykut) and Rita Stoppa. Aunt Phyllis will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Phyllis retired from a career in teaching after 33 years at the age of 50 and shared many fond memories with her colleagues in the Retired Teachers' Association. Phyllis served the CWL faithfully for 41 years, and was actively involved in her community through the Pontiac Lionettes and the Golden Age Club. Friends may call at the Ringrose Brothers Funeral Home, Campbell's Bay, Quebec Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 12 noon. Funeral Tuesday May 27 to St. John the Evangelist Church, Campbell's Bay, Quebec for Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m. Interment St. Elizaneth's cemetery Vinton. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. John the Evangelist Church and the Campbell's Bay-Litchfield Fire Department would be appreciated by Delbert and the family.
