PIERCY, Peter "Pete" 1925 - 2006 Peter John Piercy passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital early on February 20, 2006 at the age of 80 years. Pete loved the outdoors, soccer, his dogs and fishing. His dogs were his steadfast companions. Pete loved his "pint" at the end of the day. Pete was proud of his service in the Royal Navy during World War II. Pete is survived by his wife Jean of fifty-four years; son Peter (Donna); grandchildren, Carly, Spencer and Nick Piercy; nephews, Tim Piercy, Clive Piercy, Martin (Pat) Piercy; niece Janet (Alan) Ursell; and sister-in-law Stella (Don) Low. He was predeceased by his parents, Fredrick and Constance Piercy of London, England, brother Ray and sister Daphne of England. A Celebration of Pete's Life will be held in the Chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, February 25, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in the Field of Honor, Mountain View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, a memorial tribute may be made in Peter's name to a charity of one's choice.
