Peter James Donovan 1952-2012 It is with great sadness the family of Peter J. Donovan, loving husband to Judy (Breen) Donovan, announce his passing on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on January 22, 1952, he was a son of the late Joseph N.and Evelyn (Walsh) Donovan. Peter was a life long resident of Saint John and had been employed as a long shoreman at Forterm for many years. He was a member of I. L.A Local 273 and a former member of the Adanac club. Peter was a devoted husband, father and papa. In addition to his wife Judy, Peter is survived by his children: Joseph (Crystal) Donovan of Saint John, Thomas (Stephanie) Donovan of Saint John West and Lynn Donovan of Saint John West ; grandchildren: Kristen and Evan; brothers: Moe and Stephen of Saint John East and Kevin Donovan of Saint John West, as well as several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenans Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424). Visiting Hours Monday August 13, 2012 and Tuesday August 14, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm The funeral will take place on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 2:00 pm in Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or any charity of the donor’s choice.
