Peggy Ann Hall Davis Peggy Ann Hall Davis, 93, a retired cook for Horseshoe Plantation, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2004, at Capital Regional Medical Center. The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT Saturday at Mount Zion Primitive Baptist Church at Dawkins Pond, with burial at the church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. EDT Friday at the chapel of Strong & Jones Funeral Home (850-224-2139).Viewing will be from 9 a.m. EDT until the service Saturday at the church. Family will assemble at 10 a.m. EDT Saturday at 1424 Colorado St. A native of Tallahassee and lifelong resident, she was a member of Mount Zion Primitive Baptist Church, where she was a deaconess and choir member and served as vice president of the choir for more than 25 years.Survivors include a daughter, Bessie McClendon Amos of Miami; three stepdaughters, Erma Davis Jackson of West Palm Beach, Nadlean Davis Moore of Mount Dora and Sophia Davis Ardley of Tallahassee; a stepson, Lynwood Davis of Mount Dora; three sons-in-law, Willie Amos, Willie Jackson and Robert Moore; three sisters; two brothers; 35 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and other adoring relatives and friends.
