Graveside service for Pearl Smith Wright, 93, of Decatur will be today, March 25, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with the Rev. Randy VanLandingham officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.Visitation will be today from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.Mrs. Wright died Thursday, March 24, 2005, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born June 21, 1911, in Decatur to James Matthew and Bessie Hall Matthew. She was employed by the Alabama Hosiery Mill and was a homemaker. She was a member of Ninth Street United Methodist Church. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge Wright. Survivors include two brothers, Clyde B. Smith and Guye Raymond Smith and his wife, Marjorie, all of Decatur; and several nieces and nephews.
