Paul V. "Butch" Lamb, 65, of Crystal River, FL, and formerly of Clio, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2011, in Crystal River, FL, after a courageous battle with malignant glioma, a form of brain cancer.Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 14, 2011, at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Those desiring may make contributions to The National Brain Tumor Society. Visitation is 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Cremation will take place following the service.Paul was born in Flint, MI, on March 10, 1945. He enjoyed training and showing Arabian horses and was an avid NASCAR fan.Surviving are companion, Vonnie MacDonald; children, Steve (Kelly) Lamb, Stephanie (Floyd) Quertermous, Shannon Lamb (Tim Russell), Tim (Caron) Lamb, Tammy (Mike) MacDonald, John (Sherri) MacDonald, Jeffery (Paula) MacDonald and Joseph MacDonald; 17 grandchildren; mother, Helga Lamb; brothers, Rick (Denean) Lamb, Carl (Mary) Lamb and Mike Lamb; and many nieces and nephews.
