Obituary of Patricia McKenna


Patricia McKenna Guilderland, NYPatricia McKenna, 62, of Guilderland, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital, after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to Rosolino and Josephine Casola Montana. Pat was a teacher with the New York City Public School System for 20 years retiring in 2002. She was a communicant of St. Gabriel's Church in Rotterdam, NY. Pat was very close to her grandchildren and loved spending as much time with them as possible. Besides her parents, Pat is survived by her husband of 39 years, Richard J. McKenna, they were married on September 8, 1973; three daughters, Melissa McKenna-Miguel of Medford, MA, Karen Zomchek of Nashua, NH and Michele McKenna of San Francisco, CA; five grandchildren, Lauren Miguel, Dylan Amero, Keegan, Kourtney and Kaleb Zomchek. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gabriel's Church, 3040 Hamburg St., Schenectady, NY 12303 on Saturday morning (12/29) at 10 a.m. Those who wish may make contributions in her memory to: Breast Cancer Research Foundation, 60 East 56th Street, 8th Floor, New York, NY 10022 or online at: www.bcrfcure.org For online condolences please visit: www.simplechoicescremation.com
