Patricia A. MacKenzie of Port Chester died on October 13, 2001 at Greenwich Hospital in Greenwich, CT. She was 69. Mrs. MacKenzie worked as a Secretary for Our Lady of Mercy School in Port Chester. She was with them for 10 years before retiring. She was also a nurse at United Hospital and several doctors' offices. Mr. MacKenzie was born February 24, 1932 in Bronx, NY to Patrick and Annie Donahue Clancy. She was educated in Rye and graduated from Rye High School. She earned a nursing degree from St. Joseph's, Yonkers, NY. On June 8, 1967 she married Donald G. MacKenzie. Mrs. MacKenzie lived in Port Chester for the past 36 years. Before that, she lived in Rye, NY. She is survived by her husband, Donald G. MacKenzie , Port Chester, daughters, Colleen Kelley Marando, Port Chester, Heather MacKenzie Rinello , Port Chester, Diane Gumpel, Wappingers Falls; Donna MacKenzie, Monroe, CT, Debra Vaccaro, LaGrange, NY, son, Peter MacKenzie, Harrison, brothers, Philip Clancy, Sr., Rye and Patrick McElhenney, FL , sisters, Winifred Hayman , Haverstraw, Edwina Knapp, CA, and Mary Ellen, NY and 10 grandchildren. Family members who died earlier include Peter Kelley, her first husband, brother, Matty Clancy and her parents. Calling hours are Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Graham Funeral Home, 1036 Post Rd., Rye, NY. The funeral is 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Port Chester, NY.
