JANN Norma L. Felvey Jann of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Roy A. Jann, died Sunday, December 17, 2006 at her home. Born in Rochelle, Ill. on July 29, 1927, she was the youngest of 11 children of the late Harrison Thomas and Henrietta Lawler Felvey. Norma was a longtime Fairfield resident before moving to Oronoque Village in 1992. She attended Northwestern University, served as a board member for the Oronoque Village Association and was a devoted member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish while living in Fairfield and St. Mark1s Parish after moving to Stratford. She retired as office manager for David F. Grogan D.D.S. A devoted wife and mother, she was much loved by her seven children, Lynn Benson of Stratford, Christy Ryan of Fairfield, Carol Sharpe of Westport, Roy A. Jann Jr. of North Deighton, Mass., Michael Jann of West Lake Village, Calif., Lisa Murphy of Plymouth, Mass. and Terrance Jann of Westford, Mass.; 20 grandchildren, Wesley Beyrent, Jenna Benson, Caitlin, Erin and Connor Ryan III, Michael, Christopher and David Sharpe, Roy III, Kelleigh, Samantha and Dylan Jann, Melissa and Max Jann, Leslie, Julia and B.J. Murphy, Alyssa, T.J. and Ryan Jann; a brother, Harry Felvey of Sparks, Nev.; a sister, Peggy Mammenga of Bloomington, Ill.; also several nieces, nephews; and countless friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. DIRECT to St. Mark1s Church, 500 Wigwan Lane, Stratford with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Redgate - Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
