Nola Allen DavisDecaturFuneral for Nola Frances Allen Davis, 103, of Decatur will be Monday, January 17, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with Dr. Ben Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Davis, who died January 15, 2011, at USA Healthcare, was born May 12, 1907, in Lexington to Luke Harrison Allen and Martha Frances Allen. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and a homemaker. Mrs. Davis was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who was known as Ban-Mama. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Davis; son-in-laws, Travis Letson and Bob Conner Jr.; grandson, Bobby Letson; nine brothers; and six sisters.Survivors include her son, Manton A. Davis; daughters, Edith Letson Parris (Jim), Marcelle Davis Conner and Gayle Davis McLemore; grandchildren, Brenda Letson Suggs (Don), Kay Letson Steven (Roger), Tim Letson (Jenny), Debbie Grantland (Jack), Vickey Vickery (Rick), Lynn Kimach (Matt), Bob Conner III (Lindsey), Mark Conner (Dawn), Steve Conner (Susan), Lance Conner (Teresa), Stan McLemore (Shelby) and Brian McLemore; 26 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.Memorials may be given to Hospice of the Valley, Comfort Care of Moulton, 11227 AL.
