Sarah Nell Waldrop Johnson, 85, formerly of Greenville, widow of Roy Charles Johnson, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2006, at Hospice House in Anderson. Born in Landrum, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Albert Birch and Lizzie Lee Ross Waldrop. She was a homemaker and was a member of Grove Road Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, James Roy Johnson of Pelzer; a daughter, Frances Lee Johnson McCraw of Berea; a sister, Betsy Williams; grandchildren, Angie Whitlock, Kevin Johnson and Rhonda Foster; and great-grandchildren, Chelsea Johnson and Megan Foster. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Gray Mortuary Chapel, Pelzer. The family is at the home of James Roy Johnson, 101 Fawn Trail Lane, Pelzer, and will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
