ATKINSON Neal Frederick Neal Atkinson passed away peacefully at the Rockyview Hospital in Calgary on May 16, 2006 at the age of 95 years. Born in Burnaby, B.C. on November 5, 1910, he grew up and spent most of his working life in the lower B.C. mainland. Following his retirement, he and his wife Pat lived in New Westminster, B.C. until moving to Calgary in 1998. Throughout his life, he enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren, gardening, family get-togethers, playing cribbage with friends, and he especially loved summer vacations with his family at Mara Lake, B.C. Neal is survived by his loving wife Patricia; daughters, Marion (Barry) Sarianni and Pam (Ron) Bullen; sons, Frank and Del Margetts; grandchildren, Lisa (James) Scott, Tanya (Jeff) Morris, Marla Margetts, and Carol, Steve and Michael Sarianni. His great-grandchildren are Oliver, Emma, Lisa, Cody, Tasha, Michael, Sierra, Kaya, and Jules. A Celebration of Neal's life will be held at FIRST MEMORIAL FUNERAL SERVICES, 240 - 17 Avenue S.W., Calgary, on Friday, May 19, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. "G-G-Pa is an angel now."
