ANNISTON — Services for Mrs. Rosa Lee Harris, 94, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2010, at New Hope C.M.E. Church in Bynum with the Rev. Willie Smoot officiating. Burial will be in Community Cemetery with Anniston Funeral services in charge. The body will be at the church one hour prior to services. Mrs. Harris died on January 26, 2010 at Beckwood Manor Nursing Home. Survivors include three grandsons, Terance Peters Jr., of Knoxville, Tenn., Corey D. Peters, of Norfolk, Va., Adrian J. Peters, of Oxford; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Mary Peters, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Ernestine Kirby, of Alexandria; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and life long friends. Mrs. Harris was a Alexandria native and a member of the New Hope C.M.E. Church and was a member of the Senior Choir, Missionary and Stewardess Board, Usher Board and Treasury. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Howard Harris; son, Terance Peters; siblings, Maggie, Augusta, Willie Bell, Ora Mae, Nellie, Shelly, Magnolia, Hellen, Hommer, Etta, Edward, Aaron and Jewell Kirby.
