GOODWATER - Funeral service for Phillip Harold Smith, 42, will be Wednesday, May 6, 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son North Chapel with the Rev. Charles Stone officiating. Burial will be in Hollins Cemetery. Mr. Smith died May 3, 2009 at his residence. He was a member of Oak Chapel Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening, loved his family and loved to watch his son play baseball. He was preceded in death by father, Harold Joe Smith. Survivors are mother, Janice T. Smith of Hollins; son, Phillip Brett Smith of Millerville; brothers, Paul Smith (Shannon) of Millerville, Kane Smith (Jennifer) of Sylacauga; sister, Rhonda Keel (David) of Hollins.
