PELL CITY - Funeral service for Mr. Johnny Lee Smith, 78, of Pell City was Monday, Nov. 30, at 12 noon, at Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City with Brother Jackie Connell officiating. Burial followed in St. Clair Memorial Gardens in Pell City. Mr. Smith died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009. He is survived by his daughter, Donna Stapler of Pell City; son, Michael Smith of Pell City; sister, Martha Geesling of Moody; brothers, Clifton Smith of Gadsden and Winfred Smith of Morris; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and special friend, Alene Fleming. Mr. Smith was a member of Eden Westside Baptist Church. He was a retired inspector from Alabama Industrial Steel Fab. Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City directed the service.
