Mr. James Willie Hodge, age 58, passed away into eternal rest on Sunday afternoon at East Georgia Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. He was a Bulloch County native and a 1969 graduate of William James High School. He was a member of the Magnolia Baptist Church. He was employed with Wal-Mart Distribution Center and a part-time employee with Ellis Wood Contracting Company Inc. He was joined in holy matrimony to Mrs. Joann Parrish on June 6, 1970. He is survived by a daughter, Ms. Robin Hodge of Lithia Springs, Ga.; one son, Mr. Corey (Katrice) Parrish of Orlando, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Lillie (William) Lundy of Statesboro, Ga.; two brothers, Mr. Henry Lewis (Jannie) Hodge of Decatur, Ga., and Mr. Raymond Hodge of Tampa, Fla.; papa granddaughter, Miss Kayla Hand of Tallahassee, Fla.; a special friend, Ms. Sharon Scott of Statesboro, Ga.; a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 28th, at noon at Miller Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Harry James Tremble Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Magnolia Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour. There will be no viewing after the eulogy. Family visitation will be held on Friday, February 27th, from 7-8 p.m. in the Robena Raymond Memorial Chapel at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home. Service of comfort entrusted to the care of Craig R.
