Funeral services for Mollie E. Price Horton, 87, Cypress Inn, Tenn., will be 3 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2004, at Cromwell Crossroads Church near Collinwood, with John E. Banks and Marvin Morrow officiating. Interment following in Cromwell Crossroads Cemetery, with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.Visitation will be 3-9 p.m. Sunday, June 20, 2004, and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood. She will be placed in the church one hour prior to services.Mrs. Horton, a native of Wayne County, died Friday, June 18, 2004, at Wayne Medical Center, Waynesboro, after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, James William and Earle Hunt Price; husband, Lee W. Horton; two infant children; brothers, J.D. and Haskell Price; sisters, Willodean Cooper, Louise Cooper and Ollie Newborn.Mrs. Horton was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.She is survived by sons, Leslie A. Horton and wife, Jean, Madison, Tenn., Lester E. Horton and wife, Melba, Collinwood, Tenn., Dewey T. Horton and wife, Patricia, Cypress Inn, Tenn.; daughter, Mary Mable Clark and husband, Keith, Muscle Shoals, Ala.; grandchildren, Donna, Mark, Lisa, Jeff, Teresa, Dewanna, Laura; sisters Irene Stricklin and Dorothy Robbins, both of Lutts, Tenn., Imogene Wright, Florence, Ala.; several nieces and nephews and 13 great-grandchildren.Nephews and friends will serve as pallbearers.
