GREENSBORO Minnie Maud Pitts Hall, age 96 ½, passed away Feb. 1, 2011, at Southern Oaks Assisted Living in Demopolis. Services will be 2 p.m. today, Feb. 3, 2011, at Greensboro Baptist Church with the Reverend Dee McGuire officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Mrs. Hall was a faithful member of Greensboro Baptist Church for many years.She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorman Rencher Hall; her parents, Albert and Minnie Maud Lester Pitts; her brother, Albert Higley Pitts; and her sister, Rubye Pitts Gossett Hickey.She is survived by her sons, Dorman Rencher Hall, Jr. and wife Rosalind of Greensboro and Robert Pitts Hall of Decatur; her grandchildren, Dan Rencher Hall of Greensboro, Joseph Hunter Hall of Birmingham, and Scott Murphee Hall and Melissa Renea Hall of Decatur; and her siblings, Anne Hawkins and husband Gene of Montgomery, Albert Pitts, Jr. and wife Virginia of Northport, and Irma Parr of Demopolis.Pallbearers will be Dan Rencher Hall, Joseph Hunter Hall, Scott Murphee Hall, James Howard Parr, Joseph Higley Parr, Howard Higley Parr, James Albert Pitts, and Jack Neal Glass.
