APPLING, Ga.- Mrs. Mildred Louise Johnson of 7112 Story Dr., Winfield Community, died Friday, January 23, 2004 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Walnut Grove Baptist Church, Appling, with the Rev. Elijah Barnes officiating. Burial will be in the First Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery, Winfield. Mrs. Johnson was married to the late Roy Willis Johnson. She was a member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church and retired from Doctors Hospital after 20 years of service. Survivors include five children, Mary J. Paschal of Appling, Martha J. (Donald) McCladdie of Appling, Barbara Ann (John) Beard of Harlem, Marilyn (Randall) Thorn of Harlem, and James Willie (Vivian) Paschal of Harlem; one sister, Rosa Mae (Edward) Garnett of Appling; two brothers, S.J. Paschal of Columbus, Ohio and Henry (Catherine) McGruder, Jr. of Augusta and a devoted friend, Elex Benning of Appling. Family may be contacted at 706-541-9852.
