SMITH, Michael J. D. (Mick) On September 16, 2007 Mike Smith of Edmonton formerly of Kamloops and Edson passed away peacefully at the age of 68. He is lovingly remembered by his children; Michael (Kelly), Peter (Debbie) and Dan (Susan), nine grandchildren; Ryan, Eric, Kelianne, Joseph, Samuel, Moriah, Haylee, Alex and David, his brother Jim (Irene) and his sister Sue, his best friend and companion Maggie as well as numerous relatives and friends. Mike was predeceased by his parents Michael Austin and Evelyn and grandson Matthew. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 21, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home, south of Wye Road on Range Road 232, Sherwood Park, Alberta. Mike's final resting place will follow at Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
