Michael Albert Owens SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mr. Michael Albert Owens, 55, of Spartanburg, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011. He was the son of Albert Owens of York, SC, and the late Mary Etta Lanford Owens. In addition to his father, he is survived by two sons, Christopher Owens and Jeremiah Owens, both of Chesnee; and one sister, Cathy O'Dell and her husband Brian of Fort Mill, SC; and a large extended family consisting of two nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Sandy Springs Baptist Church of Rutherfordton, NC, with the Rev. Phil Bailey and Rev. Fred Quigley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Gideons International, P.O.
