WATERLOO - Mike Smith, 50, passed away, Sunday, (July 17, 2011) in Strong Memorial Hospital, unexpectedly from medical reasons due to being diagnosed with Lymphoma, stage 4 cancer, in 1997.In keeping with the family's wishes there will be no public calling hours or service. Brink-Smith. He attended school in the Seneca Falls District. He worked as a cook at: Kar Mac Manor, Mr. Mac's Place and Belhurst Castle. When Mike was not cooking he enjoyed playing basketball, football and bowling.Besides his parents, Mike is survived by his brother, Kelly (Trina Parsons) Smith of Waterloo; Aunts, Eva (Hank) Ward of Geneva and Ginny Decker of Penn Yan; an Uncle, David Brink of Rochester; a special niece, Krystle Smith of Waterloo and another niece, Ashley Darling of Geneva; several cousins; his dog Kasey.
