Mattie Neomia Cline Davis, 74, widow of George T. Davis Sr., of 103 Cline St., died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2002. A native of Taylors, she was a daughter of the late Hannah Cline and Manley Jones. Survivors: Daughters, Shirley Landrum of Spartanburg and Betty Brown of Greenville; sons, Walter Davis of Greer, George Davis Jr. of Duncan, Harvey Davis and Jerry Davis, both of Taylors; brothers, Richard Cline and Clarence Cline, both of Taylors; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Piney Grove Baptist Church. Burial: Church cemetery. - Sullivan Bros. Mortuary.
