Mary departed this life on November 25, 2014. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheila Ramsey; and her brother, Charles Ray. She is survived by her husband, Jesse H. Crawford Jr.; her son, Rashard Ramsey; stepchildren, Dawn Crawford, Jessica (Paul) Barber of Atlanta GA, Ramon Bozeman, and Ricky Glenn of Mobile; siblings, Virginia Watson of Sacramento CA, Joe Clyde Crittenden, Isaac (Dorothy) Crittenden and Frederick Crittenden all of Mobile, Fred (Susie) Hawkins of Boston, MA, Bonnie (Dariel) Jordan of Cleburne, TX, Ralph (Ester) Hawkins of Houston, TX, Chris Hawkins of Los Angeles, CA, and Monique (Darren) Flott of Mobile; a devoted uncle, James Lewis of Greenville, AL; devoted stepmom, Lillie Hawkins, and mother-in-law Mamie Crawford of Mobile; a deeply devoted niece whom she deemed as a sister, Mary Peoples Freeman of Atlanta; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, grand, great-grands, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Saturday, December 6, 2014, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 5, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Little Magnolia Cemetery.
