Mary Kathleen "Katie" Clayton Katie Wadkins was born Nov. 9, 1921, in Nixa, Mo., and went to her Heavenly home Sept. 19, 2007. Katie was a wonderful, loving Mom, Nana and friend. She was co-owner of Clayton TV many years then began property management. She loved to travel, entertain and be with her family. She was a member of East Sunshine Church of Christ where she volunteered in the nursery many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Amy (Keltner) Wadkins, and brothers, Paul and Forest "Puffy". She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Ohler; granddaughter, Amy (Kevin) Davis; special niece, Bonnie Turner; and many friends, nieces and nephews. Visitation is today from 5 to 8 p.m. and funeral services are Monday at 1 p.m. at Greenlawn East, with burial in Hazelwood Cemetery.
