NICHOLASVILLE - Mary Katherine Goins Frederick, 79, widow of William Thomas Frederick, passed Saturday, January 17, 2015. She was born June 23, 1935 in Pollard, KY to the late Theotis and Bertha Mae Miller Goins. Mary was a member of True Gospel Tabernacle. She liked crafts, puzzles, reading and being with her family. Family survivors are six children, Charles Richard (Norma) Perrin, Monte Edwin Marsee, David A. (Eva M.) Marsee, Danny (Penny) Frederick, Kathy (Wayne) Grimes and Jeff (Racheal) Frederick, eighteen grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren and other family members. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Bertha Mae Owens and two grandchildren, Melissa Rae and Patricia Lynn Owens. Funeral service 2pm Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. James Humphery officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation 5-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Grandsons will serve as bearers.
