LYMAN, SC-- Mary Glynn Cox, 89, of 26 Lawrence Street, widow of Charles F. Cox, died March 29, 2007 at Piedmont Living Center.A native of Laurens County, daughter of the late Levi Duckett and Carrie Griffin Glynn, she was a retired employee of Lyman Printing and Finishing, a private sitter, of the Baptist faith, and a member of Lifesong Church.Surviving are two daughters, Eleanor C. Bridwell of Lyman and June C. Lamb of Reidville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Sanford and Ellie H. Cox of Wellford and J. Roger and Sherry M. Cox of Travelers Rest; a sister, Carrie Lee Glynn Hendrix of Laurens; nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.Mrs. Cox was predeceased a brother, John Glynn, three sisters, Lyde Glynn Starnes, Inez Glynn Cox, and Viette Glynn Madden, and two sons-in-law, Marvin W. (Peanut) Bridwell and Shirley W. Lamb.Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM on Saturday at Wood Memorial Park, conducted by Pastor Jeff Hickman.Visitation will be held after the service at the gravesite.The families are at their respective homes.Memorials may be made to Lifesong Church, 519 North Hampton Meadows Drive, Lyman, SC 29365.Online condolences may be made at www.thewoodmortuary.com.
