BREAU, MARY ELLEN "NELLIE" - The death of Mary Ellen "Nellie" Breau of Carleton-Kirk Lodge, Saint John, wife of the late Arthur Joseph Breau, occurred on Monday, January 17, 2005 at her residence. Born on July 31, 1913 in Chatham, NB, she was the daughter of the late Angus and Margaret (Savoy) Kenny. In Ellen's younger years she was employed with a Bakery in Bangor, Maine. She always enjoyed baking and was good at it. After her children were grown, she began working at K-Mart in Saint John West. Ellen lived in Saint John for the past 62 years. While living in Milford she attended St. Rose of Lima Church and later moved to Lakewood Heights and attended St. Joachim's Parish. She is survived by two sons, Kenny of Saint John and Robert (Dawn) of Musquash, one daughter, Alma Belding (Mike), one brother, Donald Kenny of Chatham, one sister, Ann Lambert (Roger) of Montreal, PQ, eight grandchildren, Kenny, Darren, Leon, Holly, Brandy, Ruth Ann, Jenny and Adam, four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one grandson, Christopher Rhyno, brothers, Angus, James and Robert Kenny and sisters, Susan Mazerolle, Leona MacKay and Audrey Dinan. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Ellen will then be taken to rest at St. Michael's Basilica, Miramichi, New Brunswick on Thursday, January 20, 2005 from 9:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Michael's Basilica Cemetery in the spring. Remembrances to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. www.brenansfh.com
