Brockton Mary Elfrieda (McGee) Crawford, 87, of Brockton, formerly of West Bridgewater and Rockland, died Saturday, April 26, 2008, at the Guardian Nursing Home in Brockton. A daughter of the late Cleveland A. and Nora (Sullivan) McGee Sr., she was born in Rockland, May 8, 1920. Mrs. McGee was raised and educated in Rockland. She had been employed at the former Foxboro State Hospital as a licensed practical nurse. She had been a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Holy Family Mothers Club and she was an avid bingo player and Red Sox fan. Wife of the late Harvey Crawford, she is survived by three daughters, Mary C. Dickinson of Deltona, Fla., Ann Marie Riley of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., and Carol G. Smith of West Bridgewater; one brother, Cleveland A. McGee Jr. of Orlando, Fla.; one sister, Eloise Duquette of Ocoee, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was the grandmother of the late Carol A. Riley and sister of the late John J. McGee, Kitty Shannon and Harriet Clifford. Funeral Mass Friday at 11 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 403 Union St., in Rockland. Interment in Holy Family Cemetery.
