Mary Daniel Wright LANDRUM, SC-- Mary Daniel Wright, 95, of Landrum, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Rosecrest Retirement Home. She was the daughter of the late Walter C. and Corrine Ladshaw Daniel and widow of H.T. "Tommy" Wright, to whom she was married for 71 years. She was the longest living member of Landrum First Baptist Church which she joined in 1927. She served as the Director of the Children's Department, choir member, and financial secretary. She was a graduate of Landrum High School and Cecil's Business College. She was a seamstress and bookkeeper for Landrum Casket Company for more than 40 years. She is survived by a son, Billy Arthur Wright and wife Lin of Shelby, NC; a daughter, Janey W. Lee and husband Bobby of Landrum; six grandchildren, Robin Lee, Barry Lee, Gordon Lee, Heather Robbins, David Wright, and Philip Wright; and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday, January 2, 2011, at First Baptist Church of Landrum. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM at the church conducted by Rev. Andy Allen and Rev. Mark Bishop. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
