Mary Carver Pruitt, 50, of 620 Perry Road, died Jan. 9, 2002. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Tommie and Biddie Mae Hadden Carver. She was associated with the Good Will Center and was a Baptist. Survivors: A daughter, Loretta Downs; a son, Wendell Pruitt, of Greenville; and five grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, David Carver. Visitation: 6:30 to 8 p.m. tonight at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral service: 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel. Interment: Woodlawn Memorial Park.
