Obituary of Marvin-Frederick Moring


Marvin Frederick Moring, age 80, of Citrus Springs, FL, passed away September 23, 2009, at the Hospice House in Lecanto, FL. Born on October 5, 1928, to Arthur and Mable (Steinhagen) Moring. Marvin moved to Citrus County in 1978 from Mt. Morris, IL, where he was a self employed Landscaper. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War and a Member of the Hope Ev. Lutheran Church in Citrus Springs. He was a volunteer for the Annie Johnson Center in Dunnellon and was active in all parts of Hope Ev. Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by a son, James Edward Rimmer during the Viet Nam War and his wife, Betty in 1987. Survived by his daughter, Cindy and her husband Tim Bohnsack of Lena, IL; one brother Eugene Moring of Oregon, IL; three sisters, Lorraine Hiscox of Coolege, AZ, Donna Smith of Lady Lake, FL and Kay Stitzel of Tucson, AZ; two grandchildren Lucas Bohnsack and Jamie Edward Rimmer. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26th at Hope Ev. Lutheran Church in Citrus Springs with Pastor Lynn Fonfara officiating. Private cremation will take place under the direction of Brown Funeral Home and Crematory in Lecanto. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Citrus County or to Hope Ev. Lutheran Church.
