Martha Yvonne Smith, 63, Nokomis, died March 27, 2005. She was born March 25, 1942, in Sarasota, and had her own seamstress business. Survivors include a daughter, Marcella Smith of Sarasota; her parents Bernice and James Sr. of Nokomis; a sister, Mary Cross of Apple Valley, Calif.; and brothers James Jr. of Beverly Hills, Calif., and Jerry of Redway, Calif. Graveside services and burial will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Old Miakka Church Cemetery. Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel, is in charge.
