Martha A. Age 66, of Millport, NY, died Friday, April 1, 2005, at Schuyler Hospital. Martha was born February 13, 1939 in Covert, NY, the daughter of David B. and Clarabelle Merritt Houghtalen. She was a retired employee with the NYS Fire Academy in Montour Falls. She is survived by her children, Wellington "Wally" Wright, Keith (Cindy) Wright, Dawn Harrison, Tina (Bob) Harvey, George (Tammy) Wright, and Steven Wright; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Houghtalen, Beatrice Poyer, Gert Tuttle, and Helen Everetts; brother, Floyd Houghtalen; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Hope Tuttle, Marjorie Champion, and Marietta Steckler; also her brother, David Houghtalen. Friends may call at the Haughey-Wood Funeral Home, 119-5th Street, Watkins Glen, on Tuesday evening from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Keith Kissel officiating. Burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Odessa.
