Obituary of Mark-Wesley Williams


Mark Wesley Williams, 37, of Willingboro died on Monday, Oct. 26, 2009 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick after a motorcycle accident. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 11 a.m. at Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church, Plainfield, followed by interment at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Visitation will be on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield. Please go to www.higginsfuneral home.com to send condolences. Born in Brooklyn, Mark grew up in Westfield and had lived in Roselle and Piscataway before moving to Willingboro in 2002. He worked at PSE&G, at the Midland School and at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church in Plainfield and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and playing basketball with his neighbors. He was invaluable to his friends as he could fix anything that was broken. He was predeceased by his stepfather, L.W. Williams; his sisters, Victoria Williams and Lisa Green; his grandparents, Mary and Lagrand Marbury and his aunt, Diane Marbury. Mark is survived by his wife, Danyelle (Archer) Williams; his children, Ryan, Jessica, Morgan and Jordan Williams; his mother, Sandra Williams of Ohio; his father, Charles Bartlett and his wife, Diane of North Plainfield; his grandparents, Charles and Lillian Bartlett; his brother, Larry Little of Camden; his sisters, Marcie Williams of Westfield, Pamela Moore of Willingboro, Kelly Randolph of Virginia, Cheryl Bartlett Jones of Lumberton and Tammy Little-Richardson of Georgia; his aunt, Nancy Whitaker and his cousin, Simone Marbury; also surviving are his mother-in-law, Chloris Archer; his brother-in-law, Gregory Kennedy; his sister-in-law, Jacqueline Archer Kennedy, and. many extended loving family and friends.
