WALLINGFORD - Mark J. Williams, 48, of Blossom Lane, Wallingford, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008, at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford. He was the beloved husband of Lisa Segaline Williams. He was born in New Haven, July 23, 1960, a son of Richard L. and Dolores Klimas Williams of Wallingford and was a graduate of Lyman Hall High School. He had been employed for 25 years at Burt Process Equipment in Hamden, and was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Church. In addition to his wife and parents, Mark is survived by his family and friends who he loved dearly, including his daughter, Emily Williams; his three sons, Mark P. Williams, Michael Williams and Matthew Williams; his granddaughter, Mariah Williams; his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Sally Williams of Raleigh, N.C., and Rodney and Susan Williams of Durham; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Eugene Segaline, Sr. and Anita Segaline of Wallingford; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Deborah and Steven Laccone of Wallingford, Eugene Segaline Jr. and Cheryl Segaline of West Haven, and Gregory and Amy Martin of Wallingford; as well as many nieces and nephews. Mark loved life. He spent many summers fishing with his boys, Mark and Mike, at his parents' cabin in Maine. He enjoyed playing horseshoes and boating with his friends. He loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed watching Emily play basketball and Matt doing karate. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and Giants fan and was an alumnus of Notre Dame. He loved his family and friends very much and will be dearly missed. Mark's family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Hospital of St. Raphael Oncology Unit and S.L.A. No. 2, and the Connecticut Hospice for the remarkable care they provided. His family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, Aug. 24 from 3 to 7 p.m. in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m. from The Wallingford Funeral Home when the funeral cortege will proceed to Most Holy Trinity Church where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery in Wallingford. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be sent to "The Children of Mr. & Mrs. Mark Williams", c/o The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford.
