LOUISVILLE, Ga. - Mrs. Marion Davis, 84, beloved husband of the late John Davis, Mrs. Davis went to be with the Lord Friday May 19, 2006 at Heritage of Old Capital Inn. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday May 22, 2006 at James Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy White officiating. Burial follows in the Walden U.M.C. Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 P.M. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Davis was a member of Walden United Methodist Church and a homemaker. Survirors include two sons, Joseph Davis, Wrens, Ga., Randy Davis, Avera, Ga.; two daughters, Shelby Shelton, Gibson, Ga., Betty Norton, Louisville, Ga.; six brothers, Melvin McGahee, Aiken, S.C. Ralph McGahee, Wrens, Ga. D.W. McGahee, Louisville, Ga., Fay McGahee, Louisville, Ga., Eddie McGahee, Oklahoma, Howard McGahee, Stapleton, Ga.; two sister, Gladys Willis, Albany Ga., Frances Bradley Waynesboro, Ga.; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, Pallbearers will be Tommy McGahee, Franks McGahee, Leon Peebles, Brain Davis, Chris Davis, Nathan Norton.
