Marilyn Rose Jones, 70, Port Charlotte, died Aug. 9, 2002, at Tandem Health Care of Port Charlotte. She was born April 4, 1932, in Anderson, Ind., and came to Port Charlotte 21 years ago from Greenwood, Ind. She was an executive secretary for 10 years in the Charlotte County Planning Department. Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Wendell D.; a daughter, Debra West of Bradenton; a brother, John Livingston of Anderson; and a sister, Mary Brown of Naples. No local services are planned. Roberson Funeral home, Port Charlotte Chapel, is in charge.
