Aug. 15, 1933 – Jan. 8, 2014On Jan. 8, 2014 our loving, beautiful mother, wife and grandmother left us with an emptiness in our hearts that cannot ever be refilled. She leaves behind her husband of 22 years Ernest Cox. She is also survived by three children, Sheila Lewis, Michael Turner, and wife Brenda, and Timothy Turner; six grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Wanda Gail Thomas and Carol Renee Carter. Ms. Cox spent most of her life in the food service industry. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and camping. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Heritage Funeral Home. There will be a viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. on Jan. 13, 2014 with services to be held at 2 p.m. on Jan. 14, 2014. Burial will follow in Lynn Haven Cemetery.
