Born in Dartmouth on January 22, 1916, she was a daughter of the late George and Sarah (Cole) Bainbridge. A wonderful and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by daughters, Beverley (Gerald) Guitard, Beaverbank; Madeline (Darrell) Blackburn, Rawden; sons, Ronald (Rita), Kingston; Gerald (Loretta Billows), Squamish, B.C.; Brian (Brenda), Hammonds Plains; Wade (Denise), Tantallon; daughter-in-law, Jeannine MacDonald, Meteghan; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Gladys Marks, Halifax; brother, George (Gladys) Bainbridge, Dartmouth. She was predeceased by husband, Gerald; son, Barry and infant brother, George. Arrangements are entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 2, in St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Lower Sackville, at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Ron Cutler officiating. Interment in Oakridge Memory Gardens, Lower Sackville. Reception to follow in St. John the Evangelist Church Hall.
