Obituary of Margaret Blue


BLUE, Margaret Paton (Nanny, Peg). Born July 26, 1912 in Lesmaghow, Scotland. Miss Blue (Nanny, Aunty Peg) devoted her life to the miracle of life and all its hopes and dreams. Nanny had a tremendous gift of connecting with each baby she took into her heart. An angel of great dignity, courage and tremendous generosity to all who had the pleasure to have known her, and be loved by her. Survived by her brother-in-law, Earle R. Clayson, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, her niece Debbie Hughes of Akron, Ohio, and her nephews Cameron and Corey Clayson, and Faye Lavigne, Special Aunt Peg (Bathurst, N.B.) to many other nieces and nephews in the U.S. and Canada. A very special Nanny to Gail Adelson, Robyn, Maurice and Nicole Schacter, and Sherri, Eric and Michael Peters. A funeral service was held on Friday, August 20, at 3 p.m. at Urgel Bourgie, 3955 Cote de Liesse Blvd. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Red Cross and Montreal Children's Hospital would be appreciated.
