SMITH, Mae 89, of Seminole, died Wednesday, March 21st, at Largo Medical Center. Born March 27, 1922, in Harts, WV, she was the daughter of Sidney and Alice Ramey Atkins. Mae graduated from Guyan Valley High School and attended Marshall University. She married the late Wondel Smith Sr. Feb 16, 1940; he died Sept. 22, 2011. She was a Homemaker. Mae was a member of the Bay Ridge Baptist Church in Seminole. She is survived by her son Wondel (Lenore) Smith Jr. of Clearwater Beach; two brothers Sidney (Ruth) Atkins of Branchland, WV and William Atkins of Hamlin WV; sister Myrtle Hanna of Detroit, MI; seven grandchildren Andrea, Stephen, Teresa, Michael, Troy, April and Chris and six great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son George Sidney Smith; brother Jay Atkins and sister Dolly Haynor. A funeral service will be 2 pm Friday, March 23rd, at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, Serenity Gardens Chapel, 13401 Indian Rocks Rd., Largo. Friends and Family may call Friday 1 pm - 2 pm before the service at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Serenity Gardens Memorial Park.
