Formerly of Ossining, passed away on October 27, 2001. She worked as a registered nurse at Ossining Hospital and later at Phelps Memorial until she retired around 1976, 30 years of nursing service. On October 11, 1942, she married Edward N. Williams, a longtime local banker, who predeceased her in October of 1998. She and her husband moved to Tucson, AZ in the fall of 1989. She is survived by her daughter (of Tucson) Janet G. Hughes, wife of John J. Hughes, M.D., and son David N. Williams of Northern New York. Also surviving are three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
