CHRISTIAN, MRS. MARY MILES age 86 , of Birmingham, was called to her eternal home of rest on January 12, 2013. She was the devoted wife of the late Reverend Columbus Christian. A retired school teacher after more than 30 years, as an educator in the Talladega County and Birmingham School System. She leaves to cherish her sweet memories; daughter, Valerie Christian Bailey (Leslie), grandsons; DeWayne Christian Bailey, Demetrius Jamal Bailey and sister; Elizabeth Lewis, Montgomery, AL. Funeral service Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Fairfield at 11:00 AM, 401 - 52nd Street. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Viewing Friday 1 - 7 PM.
