MCCALLA Mary Etheleen Gamble, age 92, of McCalla, passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at Reno Baptist Church with Rev. Roscoe Kornegay officiating. Burial will follow in Shamblin Cemetery with McCalla Memorial Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home Mrs. Gamble was a member of Reno Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. "Pete" Gamble; her parents, Louis A. and Bessie Lenora Smith; her daughter, Glenda Davis; her grandchildren, Barry Gamble and Sheryl Harris; five brothers; and three sisters. Mrs. Gamble is survived by her sons, Wilton Gamble (Betty), Don Gamble (Faye), and Wayne Gamble (Linda); her daughter, Pam Kelly (Wayne); eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
